I haven't posted in many months...life became incredibly busy, and then for the past four months I've been very ill. I couldn't even stitch for about three months! It was torture. Thankfully, I am on the mend and doing much better! Here's an explanation of my illness, on my blog, in case anyone is interested.
I also got behind on the cottages because I stitched other pieces in August/September (but all were CCN designs!) This post on my blog talks about those.
I am back to stitching like a crazy lady. I actually finished the June and July cottages over the summer, back in July/August -- I just haven't "finished" them up nicely yet. I didn't make any changes, except that they are stitched on 32-ct Lambswool instead of 28-ct:
And I've finished "August", though I don't have a photo to show you -- what fun that was to stitch! I loved the colors and made no changes to that, either.
Now I'm working on September and enjoying that, too. Also no color changes. Hopefully next time I post I'll have a real "finished" finish to show you. Though yesterday and today I've been working on "Still Waters" by Plum Street Samplers. I have to rotate projects around, or else I get bored!
Oh congrats on your finishes. Both months are beautiful. Glad to hear your feeling better. I'm off to read your blog now. love Annette
