August finish

This is I think one of my favorite blocks with all the blue (I love blue). I made a few changes (mistakes..hehe happy accidents) on it but in the end it all came together nicely. I really loved the satin stitch shells I decided to do instead of the cross stitched shells on the border motif.. More details on my blog.

  1. Looks great! I still don't even have my August cottage and I'm on auto ship! I picked out a pretty variegated blue(one of the new ones from DMC) and I'm hoping to use it for the waves.
